Bracely® FAQ
What’s the difference between Day Whitening and Night Whitening?
During the day and night, different gels are used for whitening. Day Whitening uses a hydrogen peroxide gel, while Night Whitening uses a carbamide peroxide gel.
Hydrogen peroxide works quickly, breaking down as soon as the whitening trays are placed in your mouth, making it ideal for 1-hour daily use for optimal results.
Night Whitening involves wearing the trays with 16% carbamide peroxide gel overnight, which breaks down to 5.7% hydrogen peroxide for effective, gradual whitening while you sleep.
How many “appointments” do you need for teeth whitening
Bracely operates in partnership with leading dentists who offer a prescription-based service, requiring you to meet specific criteria. After completing the necessary paperwork, your first gel application will be supervised via a virtual call to ensure the highest standards. Following this, you’ll gain access to our exclusive clients-only area on the website for further details and to continue your treatment.
Will teeth whitening hurt my teeth?
Most people find teeth whitening painless, but individuals with sensitive teeth may experience some discomfort. Bracely kits come with a special toothpaste designed for sensitive teeth, which can be used before, during, and after your treatment. Additionally, gel exposure times can be adjusted to make the process as comfortable as possible.
Some people may experience temporary gum or lip irritation, but this should subside once the treatment is completed.
How do braces work?
Braces gradually shift your teeth into place using a series of custom-made, clear trays. Each set is worn for about two weeks before moving to the next stage.
Are braces comfortable to wear?
Yes! Braces are made from a smooth, lightweight material designed for a snug yet comfortable fit.
How to fit your braces?
Use chewies to ensure a snug fit for your braces. Always insert and remove them properly to avoid any damage.
How to clean your braces and use the UV case?
Clean your braces daily with a soft toothbrush and cold water. Sanitise them for five minutes in the UV case. Avoid using toothpaste, as it may be abrasive.
How to use Dental Monitoring ?
Download the Dental Monitoring app to take scans every 10-14 days and track progress. Scans help to track your progress and determine when to switch braces.
How often should I wear my braces?
For the best results, wear them for 20–22 hours per day, only removing them for eating, drinking, and cleaning.
How long does the treatment take?
The duration varies based on individual cases, but most treatments take between 4 to 12 months.
